U-Space Logo

U-Space holds music Education in high regard.

The U-Space music program was designed with the help of Dr. Steven Sano, Chair of the Stanford University Music Department, and six-time grammy winner, Daniel Ho. Through this collaboration, Jason and Brad, the lead instructors at U-Space, teach students how to play and create music on the ‘ukulele. Using the fun and accessibility of the ‘ukulele, our classes provide music education for students of any level. Our curriculum engages participants in playing songs while seamlessly revealing applied music theory concepts. U-Space classes are designed to provide the tools to transition from music playing to music creation. The progressive curriculum classes are divided into six, weekly sessions.
